Veteran’s Day is fast approaching for 2007. Celebrated on November 11th every year, it is one of the designated flag flying days listed in the U.S. Flag Code. It is also a big day of celebrations in many towns as they show their appreciation for Vets, both locally and nationally.
Field reporter KH sent this link from the San Marcos Record listing a weeks’ worth of activities scheduled in San Marcos, Texas. Tributes begin next Tuesday, November 6th, and continue through the 11th. A variety of groups in San Marcos will host movies, meals, fly-overs, and parades.
