Bexarinos are packing up and getting out before Santa Anna gets here. Bowie and Crockett went into town to talk to the Tejanos. They are afraid because of what happened to Cos. The roads are choked with families and livestock, all they own piled high on wagons and mules. Some are going to Santa Fe.
